Oak Lawn Homes and Real Estate
This web site is based on the largest village in the hub of southwest Chicago suburbs surrounding Oak Lawn Illinois. The 2000 Census shows Oak Lawn as having a population of 55,245 residents.
The village of Oak Lawn is going through consistent renovation with its revitalization of the Metra train station on 95th St. in Oak Lawn's downtown area. This upgrade included parking towers, several newer condominium buildings, an updated strip mall and a new and a much larger location for Oak Lawn's Children's Museum.
Oak Lawn Real Estate
There are three newer condominium complexes available within walking distance to the train station. There are always units available so if you're looking for condo living and need to commute to downtown Chicago or anywhere on the Metra line, these locations are perfect.
Since Oak Lawn is an established village there isn't much new construction available. The newest subdivisions are Eagle Ridge and Foxwood. Most of the new construction in Oak Lawn are new homes built on existing lots throughout the village and sold individually. Oak Lawn has a good mix of single family residences and condominums, but few townhomes.
