This is princess, a 4 year old German Shepherd that has recently lost her owner and needs a home. She is the sweetest, gentlest German Shepherd I have ever met. In fact, she is shy but very loving.
I have a Chicago home for sale that is an estate sale and the executor is trying to find a no-kill shelter or someplace to foster this wonderful dog but has not had any success. Although I prefer small dogs, I would take her in myself if I could. However, Oak Lawn has a limit of 3 dogs per household and I already have 3.
She is very thin and hopefully will put some weight on now that a friend is visiting her daily to feed her and take care of her. But she is very lonely and loves having company. In fact, during showings she stayed nicely in her cage and did not bark.
If you have room in your home and heart for this precious animal please give me a call or contact me as it would be a shame to send her to a shelter without a no-kill policy. We feel she is too shy to make herself stand out to potential adoptees and will be overlooked.
