As I continually drive through Oak Lawn IL, I am happy at the progress this village has made over the years. I remember thinking that Oak Lawn was becoming a somewhat established, stagnant, “old” town. Now I am proud to live and work in this wonderful, thriving community and am excited about its regeneration.
New businesses, remodeled strip malls and stores, a new train station with parking and more plus new construction points to a desirable village that should see excellent real estate activity in the coming year. Add to this the affordable home prices and Oak Lawn is a gem that should show continual growth and real estate appreciation.
