I have posted the latest sales statistics provided for Oak Lawn, Alsip, Bridgeview, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Evergreen Park, Hickory Hills, Hometown, Justice and Worth, Illinois. It is interesting to see the difference in total sales and average sale prices from 2005 to 2006 and to compare prices in the different towns that are so close to each other. In most cases, the amount of properties sold were down but sales prices were up.
The sales we’ve had over the past 5 years during the Seller’s Market were not going to last. In my opinion, we’re not seeing a slump, we’re just getting back to normal. Although we’ve just started 2007, I’ll be eager to see how this year’s sales compare to the past two years.
