Interest rates dipped a little which brought an increase in showings on my Oak Lawn and Alsip listings over the past week. I even received two offers on one of my Oak Lawn condos for sale.
This is a great time for buyers with these low interest rates and some properties that have been sitting on the market for a while owned by sellers that are eager to sell. In our southwest Chicago suburb area we always go through the fall and winter slowdown. From Thanksgiving through New Year’s it really shuts down. But this is one of the best times of the year to buy!
